If you've been feeling a pull toward plant medicine, but haven't known where to start or where you'd belong, you're not alone in that journey. A lot of Black and Brown people feel the call to work with earth medicines and then hit a wall when they look around and don't see themselves reflected in the spaces available.
And for those who have sat with the medicine before: you know what it's like to be the only one. To do profound, tender work while also quietly managing the room. To leave ceremony having healed something, but not everything, because part of you never fully landed.
Black Condor was built for both of those people. It's a ceremonial community founded by and for Black and BIPOC individuals, where indigenous wisdom and the Black and Brown experience are safely held together with respect and reverence.
Whether you are just beginning to listen to the call or you are ready to finally put down the weight of being the only one in the room, there is a place for you here.

At Black Condor Tribe, we offer heart-centered plant medicine ceremonies rooted in indigenous wisdom, designed to support Black and POC individuals on their healing and transformation journeys. Our sacred spaces honor ancestral traditions and provide a safe, inclusive environment for deep connection, growth, and liberation.
Since 2018, we have pioneered all-Black plant medicine retreats, collaborating with revered healers from indigenous traditions, including the Huin Kuin, Ashaninka, Umbandaime Afro-Brazilian, and Shipibo-konibo lineages of the Peruvian jungle. Guided by trauma-informed practices, we ensure every participant feels seen, respected, and supported throughout their healing journey.
We do this work, because we deserve sacred spaces where we can release deeply rooted trauma and step into a life of purpose, peace, and authenticity.
Our Work Offers:
✔ Trauma-informed practice
✔ Black and Indigenous- led facilitation
✔ Clear pre-ceremony preparation
✔ Ongoing integration support
✔ Supportive post-ceremony community

Journey with us into the Amazon, an intimate and ancestral space of deep healing created for BIPOC folks.
This sacred two-week immersion invites healers, leaders, and seekers who feel called to deepen their healing path and align more fully with purpose. Rooted in the master plant dieta tradition of the Shipibo-Konibo people, this experience offers a profound opportunity to slow down, listen, and be reshaped through prayer, discipline, and relationship with the plants.
Held in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, this dieta is a commitment to inner transformation, ancestral remembrance, and walking the medicine path with humility and care. Join us as we step into the jungle, surrender to the teachings of the plants, and nurture a deeper sense of clarity, devotion, and renewal.
Everyone has ancestors, and many of us can feel the spiritual influences moving through our lives. But what does it really mean to tap in and work with that energy in a way that supports our growth? Come pull up a chair and settle in as we drop into a grounded conversation on the wisdom and gifts that can unfold through connection with spirit. In this Black Condor Talk, Ms. Junetta shares insight on nurturing these relationships with care, as well as the pitfalls that can arise when we’re not deeply rooted while engaging with the spiritual realm.
In this powerful Black Condor Talk, Adorable sits down with Yodmar Huamán, a sacred medicine man from Chinchero, Cusco, Peru and a carrier of the Qanchis Illa Intiq Churincuna (Rainbow Lineage). Yodmar shares his awakening through Wachuma (San Pedro), the sacred cactus medicine of the Andes, and speaks to the Andean cosmovision, the art of altar-making, and the prophecy of the Era of the Puma. His story is one of gratitude, humility, and the transmission of ancient wisdom into modern times.
In our latest episode of Black Condor Talks, we welcome back Gabriel De Souza, a third-generation Daimista, and Jayanti Luna, a Bhakti Yoga initiate and healer. They share their profound insights on Afro-Brazilian healing traditions and the transformative power of plant medicine ceremonies. Gabriel and Luna discuss their origins within the medicine path, as well as the incredible benefits and potential healing outcomes for participants. Don't miss this inspiring conversation and learn more about our upcoming Roots of Renewal retreat.
Farhana , is a Medicine Women and assistant at Jakon Rate, who will be our support team along with Nico and I, for our upcoming "Black to the Jungle" retreat this Fall. The interview while a little tech issued, hopefully conveys yet another perspective from a person of color within the plant medicine space :) Capturing and sharing our stories is important!
