TREATMENTS

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING

Throughout the Black Shipibo Dieta, participants will experience six traditional ayahuasca ceremonies led by the Shipibo Maestros and supported by our facilitators. Healing is deepened through the chanting of traditional icaros—medicine songs sung by the Maestros and facilitators to guide and cleanse the energy during ceremony. Each participant will receive a personal consultation, with translation support, to select the appropriate master plant ally for their dieta. Daily plant tea from your chosen dieta plant will be served three times a day to support your healing journey. The retreat includes basic Shipibo language classes and teachings on the cosmology of the Shipibo-Konibo tradition. Additional supportive treatments include purgatives such as sangre de grado taken after ceremony for deep physical cleansing, vapor baths with Amazonian plants to release toxins and negative energy, mucura sinus cleanses to boost respiratory health, smoke baths with palo santo for energetic protection, chiric sanango to support the nervous system and emotional release, daily wasai tea for kidney and urinary tract purification, and love baths to welcome in sweetness and attract positive energies. As needed, poultices, traditional massages, and other medicines will be offered to support each participant’s healing path.
