Welcome Plant Lovers...

To the Black Shipibo Dieta Retreat

We are excited to be welcoming Black healers, leaders, or seekers called to deepen their healing path and align more fully with purpose, this sacred two-week immersion is for you.

This October, join us in the Peruvian Amazon for the Black Shipibo Master plant Dieta, an intimate retreat rooted in the ancestral plant medicine tradition of the Shipibo-Konibo people.

You’ll be guided by master Shipibo healer Wexu Mesta at the Kushi Ayahuasca Retreat Center and receive a personalized plant dieta, an ancient practice of spiritual study, purification, and transformation. Supported through sacred Ayahuasca ceremonies, plant baths, traditional teachings, and deep rest, this experience is a profound initiation into self, Spirit, and the healing power of the master plants.

A rare opportunity to Diet a Master Plant

For thousands of years, Shipibo healers and community members have worked with Master Plants through a sacred practice called dieta—a time of deep spiritual study, purification, and connection. Over time, the plants themselves began calling people from beyond the tradition to receive their teachings and healing. This led to waves of Western seekers coming to the Amazon—sometimes in ways that honored the culture, and other times, in ways that were extractive.

At Black Condor, we approach this work differently. We believe in long-term, reciprocal relationships with our Indigenous relatives. Our director, Adorable Jasmine, has spent years building trust with the maestros at Kushi Ayahuasca, sitting in dieta, and witnessing firsthand how this path transforms lives, including her own.

This offering is born from that relationship, a space lovingly co-created with the Shipibo for Black folks to engage with the plant teachers in a culturally safe, spiritually grounded, and deeply respectful way.

This is more than a retreat. It’s a rare invitation to enter into sacred contract with the plants and receive their guidance for your healing, growth, and purpose.

Why this retreat is special:

The Black Shipibo Dieta is a transformative apprenticeship with the plants themselves. This two-week journey is for Black healers, leaders, and seekers who are ready to dive deep into healing, spiritual alignment, and living with embodied purpose.

You’ll have the rare opportunity to work closely with Shipibo Maestros in a traditional dieta format. Receive your own master plant ally, personalized healing in ceremony, and powerful energetic treatments that nurture and support your entire being.

Over the course of six ayahuasca ceremonies, you’ll be guided through a process of clearing, restoration, and visioning.

The Maestros will sing icaros (medicine songs) directly to you, opening and protecting your energetic field and activating the teachings of your dieta plant.
