Last winter, we gathered in Mexico and experienced a phenomenal weekend of healing, transformation, and connection led by Adorable Earth Angel. Together, we worked with sacred plant medicine, drawing from South American traditions, including the powerful Shipibo lineage and its archetype of Kushon—the Strong Prayer.
This year, we are thrilled to invite you to our second annual BIPOC retreat, Hearth of Healing. Rooted in the sacred energy of winter, this transformative weekend is a space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to reconnect with their inner wisdom, community, and the rhythms of the natural world.
Led by Adorable Earth Angel, with support from Gabrielle Blue and Amber Julian, we will once again explore the transformative Shipibo technology of prayer. Through Kushon, we will embrace the practices of clearing, dressing in light, and aligning energies for healing and renewal.
Winter invites deep reflection, grounding, and nurturing transformation, and this retreat offers the perfect space to honor that sacred energy. With the guidance of the Grandmother medicine, we will hold a safe, inclusive environment for ancestral healing, self-discovery, and reconnection. Join us in this sacred prayer and let the winter's hearth nurture your journey of restoration and alignment.
We will provide you with all the information and resources you need to prepare for the ceremony, including what to expect, how to prepare yourself mentally and physically, and any other necessary information.
Two transformative nights of healing rooted in the Shipibo technology of prayer—Kushon, the Strong Prayer. These ceremonies will guide you through deep clearing, dressing in light, and aligning your energies for balance and renewal. These ceremonies will feature Amazonian medicines, sacred rituals, singing, dancing, and supportive musicianship.
Black Condor circles are a unique and transformative aspect of our retreats. Here, we come together to open and activate our prayers, create space for mind and body practices, and perform rituals to honor the land and our ancestors.
A post-ceremony group space where participants can reflect, share insights, and process their experiences together.
Kambo medicine, a therapeutic substance sourced from the skin secretion of the a tree frog, traditionally used by indigenous tribes for its detoxifying, immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, and mental clarity properties, aiding in stress resistance and emotional release.
Alongside the divine medicines used, we will also be offering other complementary ceremonial plant medicines.
We are thrilled to offer this incredible opportunity to work with 4 plant medicines guided by experienced facilitators, supported by a seasoned team, all within a beautiful retreat setting!
